Make sure your child wears his/her uniform to AWANA each week and brings their Bible and handbook each Wednesday. Modest dress is always proper at all AWANA and church activities. Please do not send your child in midriff tops, torn clothing, swimsuits, short shorts, etc. When we have any special night that requires costumes, the modesty rule still applies. Also, we play games that require running, jumping, and sliding. It would be a good idea to wear tennis shoes with pants or shorts. (If your daughter is wearing a dress, it is recommended that she wear shorts under the dress.)

Bringing your Bible to AWANA is the most important part of the AWANA program. Please provide your child a Bible of their own. The New International Version (NIV) or King James Version (KJV) is recommended to coincide with AWANA books. If
you cannot afford a Bible, we will provide one. Please let the Commander know.
